1. Can I travel solo? What would be the group size?
Yes you can travel solo and travelling solo with Adventuresome would get you connected to many other travelers during the trip.
We are well aware of the fact that many of our adventure travelers and trekking enthusiasts have not been on a ‘group trip’ before. You can be rest assured that our trips are flexible and would allow you to explore and connect within the framework of the itinerary as we recognize the need of a solo traveler. Our group size on most of our trips is 10 to 30 with 2 to 5 outdoor leaders to accompany them.
2. Are the pets allowed on the trek?
No, we don’t allow pets on the trek/trips. We all love pets but for the convenience of other travelers joining our trips we don’t allow pets on our trips. Also we are well aware of the fact that pets may react differently during long travels, harsh terrains, and different environmental/weather conditions which may not be suitable for the pets and may disturb the individual’s coordination with the entire group.
3. Can I customize my trek?
If you do not wish to join the specified departures or you would like to vary the itinerary or you would like to plan a trip/trek for your organization, office colleagues, school/college friends etc. we would be happy to plan your trip to suit your interests. The service is available to any individual or group or organization. However we need a minimum of 10 people to organize such events/trips.
4. Can a trip/plan get cancelled?
We plan to make every trip successful and memorable to the participants. However, a plan could only get cancelled in case of extreme contingencies due to extreme weather conditions, the government/legal restrictions, strikes, unexpected circumstances at the travel destination etc.
5. What is included in my trek plans?

6. What is the minimum and maximum age limit for the trek? Does this trek require any previous experience?
We don’t restrict anyone from joining such beautiful outdoor experiences, age is just a number and you will get experience if you are a first timer for Adventure travel events. Anyone who is physically, medically and mentally fit can join our events. You can refer to the trek details on the trek page to know the trek difficulty and decide accordingly.
Anyone above the age of 18 can join directly for Adventuresome events.
Anyone between the age of 12-18 need to get No objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective parent/guardian.
Children below the age of 12 need to be accompanied by their parents/guardian during the trek.
For some specific treks we only undertake people restricted in an age group to fulfill the requirements of the itinerary/plan, treks which require some endurance level or special trainings period you get in (that we will mention in the trek details for each trek)
7. How safe is the trek?
Safety is our top-most priority. We make sure that participants get full taste of adventure during their treks. We provide first aid for minor health issues during the trek. You may encounter some insects or animals during your trek, respect their privacy and they will respect yours.
8. Where do we stay? Is there separate accommodation for boys and girls?
The stay and accommodation facility depends upon the trek/trip we are going. At some places you will get home stays with basic washroom facilities in the remote village areas, and at some places tent stay will be there (with sleeping bags). Yes, separate accommodation with be there for boys and girls. If you want to stay with your family/wife/girlfriend, in such scenario you need to inform us in advance (during ticket booking).
9. What kind of food will be provided at the accommodation? Can i keep my valuables in the accommodation?
At most places during the trek and stay only locally available food will be provided (with the best options available) but at some places we will give the option to the traveller to explore the local cuisines for themselves.
Yes you can, but it is highly advisable not to carry valuables on the trip.
10. What are the pickup/drop locations? Can i board on the way of pickup route? Whom to contact if i have a query about pickup location?
We usually share the exact pickup locations and timings a day before the event date. The pickup location will be a well known place with better connectivity with the rest of the city. The drop locations will be same as that of pickup points just in reverse order.
Yes you can definitely board on the way, but still we will suggest you to board from the pickup points to avoid misunderstanding and to avoid delays in Bangalore’s traffic.
You can contact the Outdoor leader leading the event; you will also keep getting notifications in the whatsapp group with all the travellers and outdoor leaders travelling with you so that you can coordinate with them accordingly. We will also share the contact details of the driver if needed.
11. What bus are we using for transportation?
It depends upon the number of participants joining us for the trip, so the mode of transportation can be from a cozy tempo traveller to a mini bus with pushback seats (non-AC).
1. Are there any hidden expenses or extra surcharges?
Most of our events include everything and once you board the bus everything will taken care by Adventuresome. However if anything is excluded from the event price, it will be mentioned in the event details.
2. How far in advance do I need to make my reservations?
Well we would kindly suggest you to book as soon as your plan is confirmed as we follow the first come first serve approach due to the limited availability of seats. Also, we have to book th transport in accordance with the number of registered participants for the event/trek.
3. Can I pay on the day of trek?
No. It will be more convenient for us to keep the record of payment done by you through our online payment portals only. It’s also easy to make payments online as you will get multiple payment options to book your tickets.
4. I'm a foreigner, how can I pay for trek?
Mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org, we will help you with the booking.
5. What is the cancellation/refund policy?
As you know that cancellation of booking hampers the overall budget of the trek. As we have tie-ups with third party vendors and the commitment is already made, the cancellation affect the facilities give to other participants, so, even if we don’t like to put on any policy, we might have to do it for the other participants who are coming for the trek. So, that we could be at-least manages to keep the spirits high enough. The cancellation charges are as follows.
If you cancel trek/plan before 10 days:
100% refund will be provided. (Payment gateway charges will be deducted)
If you cancel trek/plan before 7 days:
75% of the actual amount of the trek will be refunded. (Payment gateway charges will be deducted)
If you cancel trek/plan before 2 days:
50% of the actual amount of the trek will be refunded. (Payment gateway charges will be deducted)
If you cancel in last 48 hours:
No refund would be provided.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities or events may be cancelled and in such cases we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity or date. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
If we cancel the event, we offer full refund to all the participants.

It is the responsibility of client to communicate with third party (booking website) for cancellation.

Additional charges would be deducted (based on from where you booked) if you cancel the trek at any given date (along with the scenario described above), as payment gateway/event listing partner charges (Only if it’s in our control)
For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you can save your hard earned money.

6. What will be the mode of payment? How do I book? What is the last date for registration?
All the payments will be done online, from the trek page. You need to click on the ‘Book Now’ button to proceed with the bookings. Once the payment is done, you will receive a booking confirmation from our team confirming your slot for the trek. Kindly go through the event details, itinerary, terms and conditions before booking your ticket.
There isn’t any last date for registration as we book our slots on the basis of “first come first serve”, and we will take bookings till the last seat is booked. So for those limited slots available for need to book as soon as your plan is confirmed.
