Sri Lanka thrives on tourist income and the endless beaches of Sri Lanka are the most exotic and aquatic! You would not believe the crystal clear blue water that we can see on every beach despite the world getting polluted every second!

These are the hot tourist attraction’s when you visit this pearl shape country:

  • Sigiriya Rock Fortress.
  • Kandy
  • Madhu river Safari and Turtle hatchery at Bentota
  • Hikkaduwa’s deep sea diving
  • Mirrissa’s Whale watching
  • Welligama for surfing
  • Ella.

I am heading to Sri Lanka next year to raise money for a foundation there, I’m so excited to explore! We also have a lot of Sri Lankan’s living in Australia and they are so very beautiful. Always willing to chat and are some of the nicest people we have here!

  2. Liam F

Wonderful experience. I know everyone says that it is the people that make a place, but the reason everyone says that is because it is true :). I would love to visit Sri Lanka one day again. A great place to visit again and again.

  3. Ben

Where is the most family-friendly part to stay? I want to introduce new places in the world to my daughter but she’s not old enough to do a backpacking or hostel type holiday yet. It’d be ideal to have a beach hotel base and do day trips here and there.
    Thanks 🙂

  4. Finley David

I visited Sri Lanka last year around November and was just Fantastic! I would recommend using a Reputed Local Travel Agent(Udara) given the current situation. The rates are better as well and it’s safer to have someone on the ground to help you at all times which is a security that is appreciated at times like this! We had a handsome guy at “Adventuresome” Plan everything and be ended up booking the whole package with them as it seemed much cheaper and safer that way! Plus the suggestions and the recommendations that were given were really on point so we HAD to book through her! Was such a HUGE HIT!

    Do give them a try…

Hope this gives a little clarity to those thinking about visiting Sri Lanka! ???????

  5. Halina Blankinship

Is November an okay time to travel to Sri Lanka? I am planning a trip from the 2nd to the 10th of November. I know its the monsoon season then but is it really bad or doable?

  6. Matt Martin

    Hi!
I will be travelling to Sri Lanka in Jan/Feb 2021 and I’m wondering what currency I should have on me. I have spoken to several people about this and the answer is always different. Some say you only need USD, others say Sri Lankan Rupee and others say both. Some advice on this would be great!
    Thanks!

  7. Lydia

Please mention the difference between Galle and Galle Fort. Galle is the main city with not much charm and not much to do (although I always love just walking around any city). Galle Fort (as per your last photo) is the small enclave surrounded by a fort. It’s super charming with lots of restaurants and coffee shops (and shopping). It even has a small beach. The whole area is wonderful to hang out a couple of days in to catch up on some R&R. Walking around the fort taking in the views of the Indian Ocean was a favorite pastime! Also, if Sigiriya isn’t in your budget, go to Pidurangala Rock instead. It’s not too far from Sigiriya and it costs about $1 to get in. If you love a climbing challenge (with 5000 steps), head to Adam’s Peak (it’s free!). I wrote all about my trip to Sri Lanka on my website. 🙂

  8. Hayley

Absolutely CANNOT WAIT to get to Sri Lanka…. and you provide an itinerary and everything. What a boss!

  9. Sneha jain

I’m curious as I’m a woman and I’m traveling alone around the country. Do you think I would need to rent a car for any portion of the trip? Someone has offered a car at $30 per day. As I plan to spend 4 weeks in Sri Lanka I wanted to see more animal parks besides Yala. Would you have any suggestions?

  10. Heyley

Wow, your trip looked amazing, but I totally agree that there is simply too much to see in a short trip. Although my trip was only 15 days and even that seemed to fly by. By far, my favorite part was Kandy with the temple of tooth. So majestic, I see that your itinerary stops there too. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling in Sri Lanka. I personally went on an Intrepid tour through the country, and it was a cool way to get all the highlights in. I just wish I had more time :/ Thanks for sharing Team. (If anyone is interested, I talk about my trip on my blog.)

  11. Robert D

Great Product. But I have a suggestion for you to add FAQ under your product. Don’t you think it will be more informative in that way!?

    • Adventuresome

      Hi Robert,
Thanks for your suggestion, will definitely work on it.

  12. Suman Rao

    Hi Team,
    Can we book directly?
Would you be able to provide the same itinerary now?

    • Adventuresome

      Hi Suman Maam,
According to our sources for traveling to Sri Lanka, you need to have at least 14days and 13nights package till November.
For more information mail us at [email protected]
      Thank you.

  13. Ugomeago

I appreciate these places and emailed myself this article to review later. Google must think these places are dope as well because this article is at the top of organic search results. Thanks so much! Yes, it’s a bit frustrating that there are so many travel bloggers out there, but I like your point: it’s like any other business…it doesn’t mean someone can’t do their own thing and shine.

  14. Aditi Singh

Thanks so much for sharing this one! As a new to the scene traveling it’s great to read quality like this. I’ve always gone into it knowing I won’t conquer the world but just my little piece of it, it just working out the best way to do that! Great content, Thanks again.

  15. Ashmeago

I simply wanted to develop a word to be able to say thanks to you for all the magnificent steps you are placing at this website. My rather long internet lookup has finally been paid with good quality facts to exchange with my friends and family. I’d mention that we site visitors actually are rather lucky to be in a wonderful site with so many special individuals with good tactics. I feel truly privileged to have seen your entire website page and look forward to tons of more exciting moments reading here. Thank you again for everything.

best blog site, very informative site.

  18. Tony

    Truly….such a important interesting site.

  19. Amar Prakash

That’s great, we had such a positive experience not only enjoying the culture, but also our interactions with the locals. It really is true that people can make all the difference to your travels. Especially when you’re in a foreign country, it’s nice to feel safe and know that the locals aren’t all out there to scam you. Interacting with locals is such an important part of fully immersing yourself within the country too.
